A Queer project reclaiming local archives

A project for LGBTQIA+ people to discover, celebrate, collect and contribute to local queer heritage. Starting in Wandsworth (SW London) the project is currently open to people with links to the borough who identify as LGBTQIA+.

Explore local archives, create your own archival material & celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community in your area

We believe in

Queer history is everywhere, but it’s often hidden from view. Discover and explore LGBTQIA+ heritage in your area and make history by contributing to the local archive.

Collaborate with local LGBTQIA+ people of all ages; share moments, celebrate your community and connect through our shared histories.

Express yourself, get creative and build confidence, discovering new ways to document and celebrate your place in history.

Build solidarity and empowerment by connecting to local queer history alongside fellow LGBTQIA+ people in your community.

This project is constantly evolving because it is created by YOU, the community who take part. As soon as you sign up you become a collaborator!

We aim to explore, celebrate and represent under-documented LGBTQIA+ experiences from the local community. The project is open to all who identify as LGBTQIA+ and is responsive to individual needs.
